Datanla Waterfall

Datanla Waterfall is Da Lat's most popular natural attraction — a series of powerful cascades dropping through dense pine and tropical forest, 5 km south of the city centre. The journey down is part of the fun: an alpine roller coaster (tự lái) carries you 400 m through the trees to the base, where a suspension bridge crosses the gorge and trails wind past the falls. For the adventurous, Datanla is the main base for canyoning in Da Lat — abseiling down wet rockfaces and jumping into natural pools, led by certified guides.

Entry approximately 50,000 VND; roller coaster ride extra (~70,000 VND). Canyoning tours book through operators in town (~600,000–900,000 VND half-day). Open daily. Busy on weekends — arrive early for the best experience.
