Mua Cave (Hang Mua)

A steep 500-step climb up a dragon-spine staircase rewards with panoramic views over the entire Tam Coc valley and rice fields below.

Overview

Mua Cave (Hang Mua) is less about the cave and more about the climb. A 500-step stone staircase winds up a dragon-spine ridge to a small pagoda at the summit, offering one of the finest panoramas in Ninh Binh — the whole Tam Coc plain, river bends, and karst towers spread out below you. The descent takes a different path down the far side of the ridge.

Entry fee: 100,000 VND adults. Allow 1–1.5 hours. Bring water — there is no shade on the staircase.
