Phu Quoc Night Market
The island's most atmospheric evening gathering — 50+ seafood vendors, grilled sticky rice, silk candy, Phu Quoc pepper, and pearl jewellery stalls along a lively riverside strip.
Overview
Phu Quoc Night Market (Chợ Đêm Dinh Cầu) runs along the riverbank near the Dinh Cau shrine every evening and is the most enjoyable place to eat and browse on the island. The food section at the entrance has over 50 stalls grilling, steaming, and frying: whole crabs, tiger prawns, clams in butter and garlic, grilled corn, Phu Quoc-style grilled sticky rice (xôi nướng), and soft-serve ice cream coated in sesame. Past the food section, stalls sell Phu Quoc's famous products — black pepper in every form, fish sauce, dried seafood, silk candy, and pearl jewellery. The atmosphere is lively but not overwhelming.
Free to enter. Food stalls from approximately 17:00; busiest 19:00–21:00. Located on Vo Thi Sau Street, Duong Dong town — walkable from most Long Beach accommodation. Arrive hungry and budget 100,000–200,000 VND per person for a full seafood spread.
