Long Beach
Phu Quoc's main 20 km beach strip along the southwest coast — the hub of the island's hotels, restaurants, and nightlife, with gentle surf and reliable sunsets.
Overview
Long Beach (Bãi Trường) is Phu Quoc's main tourist spine — a 20 km sweep of coast along the southwest of the island, home to roughly 70% of the island's accommodation, restaurants, and bars. The beach itself is pleasant enough: reasonable sand, warm water, reliable sunsets. But its value is really as a base — everything from budget guesthouses to five-star resorts lines the road behind it, and the concentration of dining options means you can eat well for any budget within walking distance of any hotel. The southern end near Duong Dong town is busiest; the north quietens considerably.
The beach runs from Dinh Cau port in the north to An Thoi in the south. Most development clusters around the central section. Sunloungers typically free with food/drink orders at beach restaurants. Good for families — the gentle slope and moderate waves are safe for children.
