Overview
Quy Nhon's night market is one of the most authentically local evening markets on the south-central coast — less touristy than Hoi An's and less overwhelming than Nha Trang's. The food stalls lead with Quy Nhon's signature dishes: bánh xèo tôm nhảy (sizzling pancakes with "jumping shrimp"), bún chả cá (fish cake noodle soup), fresh grilled lobster priced by weight, and a range of local sweets and desserts. The atmosphere is energetic and youthful — Quy Nhon has a large student population that gives the night market a livelier edge than comparable cities.
Free entry. Operating hours approximately 17:00–23:00. Located along the riverside near the city centre. Budget 100,000–200,000 VND for a full meal with drinks. The bánh xèo tôm nhảy stalls are the most popular — look for the longest queues.
