Bich Dong Pagoda
A three-tiered pagoda complex built directly into a limestone cliff face, with caves at each level and sweeping views over the river valley below.
Overview
Bich Dong is a compact but atmospheric pagoda complex built directly into the face of a limestone cliff. Three separate temples occupy three levels of the cliff, connected by steep stone paths and steps. The lowest level sits at the cliff base; the middle level is set inside a cave; the highest perches at the cliff top with a view over the river and rice fields toward Tam Coc. Entry is free and the site is far less crowded than the major paid attractions.
Free entry. About 2 km from the Tam Coc boat landing — easy to visit on the same trip.
